I developed an alternative to the above options because I was dissatisfied with the different offerings available, it is called GA Experiments+. At this point, I only developed the first tier which is free and serves as an MVP while still allowing to do simple AB tests or complex ones if you know some basic CSS and/or code (or just ask your favorite developer). It is powered by Google Analytics and is compatible with Google Tag Manager.

That is a great article on ab testing tools. The list is excellent with some great and helpful tools.
My personal favorite is the Simple Page Tester. The three step A/B testing process is amazing.
